Since we already have a list on the Top 10 Fictional Religions in Video Games we need to distinguish the difference between a religion and a cult. For the sake of this list, any following that has a dominant presence in their game’s respective worlds such as the Coveneant from the Halo series is considered more a religion than a cult, thus ruled out of this list.
