When I first saw the Motiv Ring at CES it was so small and light that I thought it was a show-floor dummy. I just couldn’t believe it packed the average fitness band’s tech into the space of something that fits on your finger – and managed to look pretty good doing it. So when the opportunity arose to take the Motiv Ring for a spin out in the real world I said heck yes. The result? While it’s not as powerful as a Fitbit, it’s many times more stylish … and it feels like a genuine glimpse of the future of wearables.
