The Acura brand has been on quite the up and down journey over the years. The #ToyotaHighlander and #LexusRX have been distance cousins for the last 2 decades. Toyota introduced the Highlander back in 2001, while the RX came out in 1999. Over the years, most buyers would say the #Lexus is obviously the nicer car with supple leather, real wood, and a cushy and quiet ride. When #Toyota redesigned the #Highlander this year, it grew in size and added a lot more luxury making the new version even more “Lexus-like”, while the current #RX350 dates back to 2016 and is about to be replaced with a new model in 2022. With the new Highlander as nice as it is, has the Lexus been overshadowed by its Toyota cousin?

#Fiat came back to America nearly a decade ago and made some pretty waves when they did. Peaking at nearly 50,000 total sales of just one model, the #Fiat500 is a pretty amazing achievement for a company that makes a very small car. Unfortunately, like many fads, that did not last and in 2019, Fiat sold only 9,200 units, dropping over 80% versus their peak in 2014. Honda made a lot of people happy when they finally brought over the hottest Civic to American shores in 2017. The #HondaCivicTypeR made you rethink your expectations on how a hot hatch should perform. Especially a FWD hot hatch. The #CivicTypeR was so good, that demand exceeded production and continues to do so 3 years later. For 2020, the #TypeR gets minor changes to the look, but bigger changes under the skin that should make this #HotHatch even more formidable on the race track. #Honda will undoubtedly continue to sell as many #Civic Type R’s as they can build.

For this all-new model, Toyota has decided to only offer its newest SUV as a #VenzaHybrid, sporting the same electrified powertrain from the RAV4 Hybrid. This new second-generation #Venza offers up to 219 HP and 40 MPG, making it one of the most fuel-efficient offerings in the midsize crossover segment. The new #Toyota Venza goes on sale in August and pricing will be announced as we get closer to that date.

The #PorscheCayenne was the first-ever SUV built by #Porsche about 16 years ago and the success of the #Cayenne allowed the company to build better 911’s for the future. For 2019, Porsche gave the Cayenne a full redesign and it now shares a platform with the Audi Q7, Lamborghini Urus, and Bentley Bentayga. It’s still Porsche second best-selling model in the lineup but we recommend checking at least the S model to make the latest Cayenne feel more like a Porsche and less like an Audi.
