Spider-Man: Continuity Mistakes In No Way Home

Secret identities for superheroes. Especially when your superhero endeavors attract the attention of a colorful cast of super baddies who have you on the top of their foes list. You can’t have them come after your loved ones. Not all secret identities are the same. Some people seem to think a pair of glasses and a nerdy hair comb can make everyone not able to put together the handsome but nerdy Daily Planet reporter with the man of steel. Clark Kent isn’t the only one who has found a way to monetize his double life. Peter Parker manages a modest living at least early in his adult life selling pictures of his heroics to the one publication that has dedicated itself to exposing his alter ego as a menace. Because Parker’s if Peter Parker’s life is anything, it’s super complicated. Things got extra complicated dow ol’ MCU way when a lot of Peter Parkers who don’t actually live in the Marvel Cinematic Universe got to visit for a while and put their Peter Parker minds together to figure out a way to redeem those foes from another universe that came with them. But in doing so there are some story issues that come up, like the worlds these Peter Parkers return to are going to be fundamentally changed in ways that may forgo the creation of the other villains. Are there explanations to these seeming blunders? Give us your explanation in the comments and while you’re there be sure to like and subscribe for the latest videos in your inbox.

11 Deleted MCU Scenes That Could Have Changed Everything

MCU deleted scenes number in the dozens. Even still, one of the most thrilling things about finally seeing an MCU release is that despite all the rumors and theories and leaks, what you’re seeing on the screen is the way it happened in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But the long, winding road through individual Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Panther, Guardians and other movies is littered with deleted scenes that could have changed everything (or at least made a few rogue Variants along the way). These are 11 that I thought were interesting, and that could have shaped the MCU in unexpected ways.

Many of these scenes are from the biggest team-up movies like Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, but plenty still come from newer Marvel Studios (and Sony) releases like Eternals and Spider-Man: No Way Home, and ALL of them could have had a huge impact on the MCU. Some even date back to the very first MCU film, 2008’s Iron Man, but all are fun to watch (even without the completed CGI).

Every Cameo We Could See In Doctor Strange 2

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is currently multiverse crazy. Over on Disney Plus, Loki and Sylvie went against He Who Remains wishes and caused the merging of timelines, while in Wandavision- Scarlet Witch possessed by the darkhold seems ready to take a trip across the unknown universe to play a galaxy wide game of hide and go seek for her kids, the young Avengers Speed and Wiccan.

Sam Raimi and Benedict Cumberbatch just finished a rigorous six weeks of reshoots on Doctor Strange: Multiverse Of Madness to reportedly add in a whole slew of cameos. Leaks suggest that some of the craziest ones can’t even be theorized- but gosh darn it we will try!

For starters there is going to be The Illuminati- not Beyonce and Jay-Z but the team featured in Earth 616 responsible for keeping peace in that universe. The word on the street is that these roles will actually be performed by those who played them outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That means the Foxverse X-Men and Fantastic Four officially become canon like the Sonyverse became canon through Spider-Man No Way Home.

Another surprising already confirmed addition to the film is What-If’s Supreme Strange making a cameo as a variant good Doctor which blows the door wide open for other animated characters to show up and crossover into live action like the long awaited return of Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter. This even extends to crazier cameos like a Michael B Jordan Black Panther and maybe even the Marvel Zombies? Although you need some sort of Army Of Darkness to fight those guys off. That being said this is a Raimi movie, an Ash Williams cameo isn’t all that crazy.

Why It’s More Fun To Love Villains

Amoral protagonists. Anti-heroes. Douche wagons. No matter what they do – be it having countless affairs, covering up drug-fueled escapades while preaching the love of god, just plain BEING Roman Roy, or poisoning small children… they are the straight up bad people that we cheer them on despite knowing that, yeah, if we met ‘em in real life we’d toss ‘em off a cliff like Walter White disposing of a pizza. But like… why? Why do we love characters who border on being totally evil – or worse, sometimes even ARE evil?

Notably, there’s southern fried Succession, aka The Righteous Gemstones – a show that’s shot in my hometown and yes, it’s very distracting. Much like in Succession, we’re presented with an ensemble of rich, entitled siblings and their powerful father, whose power they yearn for. Unlike Succession’s Logan, Eli Gemstone is not the most despicable father in the world, but he ain’t great and as the new season plays out, it’s becoming increasingly obvious that the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree. Although damn, these kids are hella dumb.

Unlike Succession, the Gemstone children are more outwardly despicable. Where someone like Shiv might be able to convince one or two people that she knows what she’s doing, there’s no chance anyone’s going to take Judy seriously. And heck, Jesse’s a classic Danny McBride performance – as in, he’s a real turd. There’s no Shakespearean fall from grace like Kendall, just a bunch of buffoons attempting to prove themselves to daddy.
