The second season of Broadchurch, a BBC AMERICA co-production, follows two seemingly unconnected events: the Daniel Latimer trial and the Sandbrook case – Detective Inspector Alec Hardy’s previously failed investigation, which has dogged his existence ever since. Though all expect a swift sentencing, there are still undeniable discrepancies and more secrets hidden among the townspeople.
