Video games themselves have changed drastically. We went from big arcade cabinets to home consoles to having mobile games be on our phones. We have even entered a new age of virtual reality. In it’s history, video games have gotten a bad rep being blamed for school shootings, violent tendencies and more. They have played the scapegoat for the uninformed majority, but recently games have done a lot of good.
Video games have a multitude of applications now from education to research and development. Video games have even helped save lives which is what we will be looking at today. Whether it is saving a life from half a world away or using what you know in video games, we will be looking at the times that the power of video games have saved actual human lives.
