The “Joker” movie definitely stepped outside of the box but contained a surprising number of Easter eggs concerning other elements of the franchise. We’ll show you some of the more subtle ones that everyone missed, including the homage to the 1989 “Batman” movie which included Jack Nicholson as the Joker. Arthur Fleck visits a social worker named Debra Kane and that’s a name which may sound pretty familiar to comic book fans. This film grossed over a billion dollars at the box office, and included a tribute to one of the most influential movies of all time. It might have been easy to dismiss the giant rodent visible in one scene, but it could have been a clue about “The Suicide Squad” featuring the villain Ratcatcher!
