كشفت الفنانة اللبنانية المرموقة ماجدة الرومي عمّا دار بينها وبين الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون، أثناء لقائها به، في “قصر الصنوبر” ببيروت، في الأوّل من أيلول/ سبتمبر 2020، خلال زيارته الأخيرة لبنان، احتفاءً بالذكرى المئة لتأسيسه.
ونشرت الرومي عبر حسابها الرسمي على موقع “فيسبوك” فيديو تحدثت فيه عن تفاصيل اللقاء، الذي قالت إنه جاء تلبيةً لدعوته للتعبير عن تقديره ومحبته لها، ولبحث التعاون من أجل مساعدة لبنان، فاقترحت عليه إقامة حفلات برعاية وزارة الثقافة الفرنسية، يذهب ريعها لأهالي الضحايا.

وشاركت ماجدة الرومي متابعيها على موقع “تويتر”، بياناً صحافياً صادراً عن مكتبها الإعلامي حول اللقاء، جاء فيه: “أراد الرئيس الفرنسي أن يختتم زيارته للبنان بلقاء السيدة ماجدة الرومي تشديداً على رغبته بإبراز وجه لبنان الفني الحضاري، وعبّر لها عن رغبته في رؤية تعاونٍ فنيٍ لبناني فرنسي بهدف مساعدة لبنان للقيام من محنته.”
وأضاف البيان: “بدورها أكدت له الماجدة أنها تضع صوتها بخدمة الوطن للنهوض من كبوته وللوقوف مع أهلنا بعد الكارثة التي ألمّت بالبشر والحجر، وشكرته على كل ما قام ويقوم به لخدمة لبنان مشيرةً الى زيارته للسيدة فيروز التي تلامس روح لبنان المنفي الجميل الذي نحبّه.”

وأظهرت الصور المرفقة بالبيان الصحافي الصادر عن المكتب الإعلامي للفنانة اللبنانية، عناقاً مؤثراً بينها وبين إيمانويل ماكرون، تم التنويه له بالقول: “الرئيس الفرنسي تأثر لكلام سيدة الكلمات التي رأت الدمعة في عينيه فعانقها وكأنه بها يعانق الشعب اللبناني ليقول: ستكونون بخير.”
وأتى هذا البيان بعد تداول صورة عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، لماجدة الرومي إلى جانب أخيها في أروقة “قصر الصنوبر”، وهو يحمل باقة وردٍ كبيرة قيل إنها مهداة منها للرئيس الفرنسي.
