Galaxy Z Flip vs Motorola Razr: Real-World Test

It was Battlestar Galactica which taught us that “all of this has happened before, and all of it will happen again.” See, when Motorola released its first ultra-thin RAZR V3 in 2004, Samsung was hot on its heels the very next year with its super-slim competition, the SPH-A900 – a phone that didn’t have nearly as much brand cachet, but made up for it with better specs and a better user experience. Well, flash forward to 2019: Motorola closed out the year by resurrecting the Razr with a new folding-screen model … and come 2020, Samsung yet again has its own response – in the Galaxy Z Flip. I’m MrMobile and I’ve spent 24 hours putting the Galaxy Z Flip head to head with the Motorola Razr. Let’s see which of these is the best folding phone for you.

MrMobile’s Samsung Galaxy Z Flip vs Motorola Razr comparison video was produced following 24 hours with a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip review sample and several days with a Motorola Razr review sample in New York City. Pre-production devices running pre-release software. Galaxy Z Flip device tested on AT&T; Motorola Razr device tested on Verizon. MrMobile does not produce paid or sponsored reviews; no company featured in this video was offered copy approval, and no compensation was requested or provided in exchange for this coverage.
