Do you like ’em chunky but funky? Your dive watches, I mean? Well, you should check out the Sea Hunt. 40mm but 175g on the bracelet and 15.5mm thick. Cute caseback design and a great leather strap, but some QC issues they need to resolve before the roll out their production units. All the best to them for their campaign. Cheers, Jody

Is this one all over before it has even begun? That’d be a shame because there is a lot to like about the Pablo, apart from the fact that it is called Pablo, unless perhaps you are also called Pablo. I haven’t really spend much time with a flieger, but this one certainly makes a compelling case for itself as a left field daily. Not a watch that shouts that you’ve spent a fortune, but one that quietly murmurs that you are into watches, big time, and understand exactly what you have on your wrist. The Seiko Prospex SLA017 Is The Best Dive Watch You Will Never Own

So, were they right? Is the Seiko SLA017 the best dive watch that you and I will never own (due to the fact that they were $3400, they only made 2000, and those are long gone)? Well, I’m not so sure. From the underwhelming bracelet, the awful packaging, to the dubious accuracy from the movement, I don’t think I’ll be crying myself to sleep at night. Cheers, Jody
