You may think you know what’s going to happen in the Endgame to the Avenger’s battle with Thanos, but you’re no Doctor Strange. The Sorcerer Supreme’s has vast intellect and universe-spanning powers of perception. These give him an upper hand in the war against the Mad Titan that even we can’t fully comprehend. In fact, there’s so much going on in these Marvel movies, with so many characters interacting, changing and dusting into non-existence that it gets a little distracting. And that distraction keeps us from noticing the little hints and easter eggs hidden by the MCU creative team, foreshadowing the bigger powers at play and foretelling the way our heroes fortunes will fall out in Avengers: Endgame. So join ScreenRant as we try to unlock the mystery of the final Avengers film of this MCU phase.

If there’s one character who seems like he has it all together, it’s Doctor Strange. Sure, he was snapped into nothingness when Thanos brought his fingers together, but the Sorcerer Supreme may have been even more aware of what was going on than he let on. And while it seems like all is lost, the Doctor said it himself, that letting Thanos win in the particular way that they did was the only possible solution to ultimately beating the Mad Titan. Strange even said, “we’re in the endgame now,” and if that’s not a big giveaway that the time traveling magician knows a thing or two about how to fix this mess then we don’t know what is.

The Hotel Transylvania franchise has been a mega-hit for Sony Animation Studios, churning out three movies and a television show. Despite being developed and produced by Sony, the movies have plenty of references to other films and studios. Besides the obvious connections to the Universal Monster movies, the movies have plenty of tie-ins to Disney movies as well! From voice actors to direct references, check out some of these crazy Disney secrets we were able to dig up from dracula’s grave!

For example — Even the animated world is filled with epic and iconic couples. There’s Aladdin and Jasmine. Belle and the Beast. Shrek and Fiona. Hiccup and Astrid. Jack and Sally. In the first Hotel Transylvania, the filmmakers started building the love story to another great couple — Johnny and Mavis. We’ve seen them connect, have a child, and grow even closer through each of the three movies. To showcase their love, the movies have presented the idea of the “Zing” and we even got a whole song about it. In the first verse of the song “You’re My Zing” — Johnny — voiced by Andy Samberg, goes on to compare their love to each other in a plethora of ways — one of them being a direct reference to the Lion King. Watch to see all of these references and several others directly tied into Disney movies!

Clint Barton has been surprising us ever since he first made his Marvel movie debut. As Hawkeye, he managed to be an incredibly useful member of the MCU despite not having any superpowers. During Avengers: Age of Ultron Clint retired in order to spend more time with his family but cheerfully came out of retirement in order to fight more bad guys. He did the same thing during Captain America: Civil War only this time his actions landed him on house arrest. However, we were still surprised he didn’t at least make an appearance during Avengers: Infinity War and many fans wondered if he would even show up during Avengers: Endgame.

Well, based on the trailers not only does he show up but he’s rocking a new mohawk and a huge tattoo on his left arm. Could Hawkeye have transformed into this Ronin persona from the comic books? And could these aesthetic changes have something to do with the fate of Clint’s beloved family? Although we hate to be pessimists it seems unlikely all of them escaped from Thanos’ decimation completely unscathed. We’ll talk about what this could mean for the MCU timeline and how it could affect what happens during Endgame and beyond.

Avengers: Endgame is shaping up to be the movie event of the decade. Our heroes and the universe lost badly in Infinity War and now the broken and uninspired survivors have to find a way to bring back those they lost and ensure Thanos doesn’t do it again. No small feat. The Avengers may have a smaller roster this time around but they’re still pretty powerful, and having Thor and Captain Marvel fighting side by side definitely tips the scales in their favor. So in a world where those two exist, where does Black Widow fit into it all, who is an expert spy and hand-to-hand combatant but lacking any real superpowers. There are a few theories to point out that Natasha Romanoff will play a critical role in the movie. For one, Scarlett Johansson stated that Black Widow is driven in a different way in this movie and is driven more by anger, so she wants to get as involved as possible. Another one is that the Avengers are heavily rumored to be time travelling in this movie thanks to the Quantum Realm. Natasha’s expertise lies in espionage and gathering intelligence, so venturing into uncharted territory is definitely something she’d prevail at. Most importantly though, Natasha is likely the one who tracked down Nick Fury’s pager. She would likely have gone looking for her friend and found the retro device on the ground, which in turn brought Captain Marvel to the fight-a much-needed ally. She may also be the one to bring Scott Lang to the Avengers HQ by means of a transmitter. Without Natasha, not only would the Avengers be lost but they wouldn’t have gained two powerful and needed allies.
