The Marvel Cinematic Universe is starting to fill up with superheroes, and as Vision will tell you, their presence creates an increase in the nature and power of the bad guys. With characters like Moon Knight, She Hulk, and The Fantastic Four on their way as well as heroes that are still bopping around saving the day, they’re a lot of openings for people to save the day from. We’ve already met some of them that will cast long shadows across the next Marvel cinematic saga, like the time traveling interdimensional conqueror Kang. The Enchantress Sophie went and killed the only version of him that was keeping a cap on his crazier selves. That doesn’t even cover Doctor Strange and the Scarlet Witch running around poking holes in the multiverse and even running across Doctor Strange’s darker, more tragic half. This opens the doors for interdimensional horrors like Nightmare or maybe finally Mephisto. That’s right, we’re not done with Mephisto yet. As more Hulk characters start piling up it can only make one wonder if the Hulk villain left on the table might get his chance in the sun as well. And that doesn’t even touch the elephant in the room, the consequence for mucking about with the multiverse is poking a hole into the Beyond Dimension, unleashing the Beyonder and his nefarious ways.
