Cobra Kai: Behind The Scenes Secrets Of Season 4

The Karate Kid has become a bit of a cultural touchstone, making it almost impossible for people trying to wax a car to get through the task without someone relating it to Mr. Miyagi’s classic chore based karate training technique. The classic underdog versus the bully story has become part of the landscape of American culture with lines like “Wax on, wax off” and “sweep the leg” being part of the lexicon. The series that revists Daniel-san and Johnny Lawrence that started on YouTube Red before making its way to Netflix has taken that story and built a series that explores the difficulties of the mentor and student relationship not just for the student but also for the mentors involved. Being less about ‘authentic’ karate and more of a fairy tale built around America’s retail karate world that has studios in strip malls and converted retail spaces across the country, the series has continuity outdone itself bothe exploring the outsized reality suggested by the film series but also by the crazy antics that the mentors and the new batch of students have gotten up to. Naturally that means that filming the series would result in some shenanigans all its own. From backstage pranks to choreography mistakes to Disney tunes, the stories of season 4 are almost as exciting as season 4 itself. What surprises are you looking for in Season 5? So for the new series to return us to the character AND actually make the show as lovable as its best days again is no small feat. This has got a lot to do with some of the behind the scenes secrets you may have missed.... Read More | Share it now!
