Accusations have been made that this video was a paid for promotion. This is false. The facts are these. Some members of Polaris engaged in a promotional event paid for by Microsoft to promote 4 Xbox Live Summer of Arcade titles, one of which was Brothers. As a PC gaming critic, I did not engage in this promotion. They were required to livestream each Summer of Arcade title on Xbox 360. It is entirely illogical to suggest that this video could be a part of that promotion, since it is of the PC version of the game, was released weeks after Summer of Arcade ended and the PC version of the game has no connection to Microsoft at all, being developed by Starbreeze and published by 505, not Microsoft Game Studios.
