Michael Voltaggio of Ink. takes his star-studded crew out on the streets of Hollywood where bowling competitions, enormous pork shanks and yards of beer rule the night. The evening ends with an epic sandwich-off and tattoos by Dr. Woo.
Mr. Top Chef Michael Voltaggio takes us out for a night in Hollywood with an appropriately star-studded crew, including Duff Goldman (Ace of Cakes, Charm City Cakes), Jeff Mahin (Stella Barra Pizzeria, Do-Rite Donuts), Zach Carothers (Portugal. The Man), Jason Rotramel (Rebel8), and Ink.’s chef de cuisine, Cole Dickinson.
The night kicks off at Birch, Brendan Collins’ new endeavor in the heart of Hollywood, for oysters, monkfish tikka masala, and pork shanks the size of a baby’s head. Next, we cruise over to The Spare Room at The Hollywood Roosevelt for craft cocktails and some intense bowling competition before crossing Hollywood Boulevard for arcade games and yards of beer at Dave & Buster’s. En route back Ink., Michael calls an audible and detours to Shamrock Social Club for a last-minute tattoo with renowned artist Dr. Woo. Filled with booze and adrenaline, the gang crowds into the kitchen at Ink. for a sandwich-off that puts all other food competitions to shame.

The world may not agree on just how “real” professional wrestling, or “sports entertainment” may be, but when the masses love or hate one performers above the rest, mainstream fame is usually within reach. Not every pro wrestler who has pursued a Hollywood acting career has found success, but that might not be as bad as it sounds. Some of the greatest legends of wrestling found their way into Hollywood films… and still, nobody noticed. Here are Screen Rant’s 10 Wrestlers You Didn’t Know Appeared in Movies.

The Tank Trap – This is the event most Top Truck Challenge competitors anxiously await—or dread. The Tank Trap is a quarter-mile-long course designed to force each competitor to fight for every inch of forward progress. The Tank Trap is a standard feature at the Hollister Hills SVRA, but for TTC, it’s modified to our specs using heavy equipment and water. As in previous years, Tank Trap (located in a deep, natural valley) has an approximate 195-foot climb in elevation from start to finish. Due to water restrictions from the 2015 California drought, we had to cut back on the number of water holes, though we use the same numbering system as in previous years. A few yards into the course, competitors have to navigate the 5-foot-deep Water Hole 2. From there, they enter the infamous 100-yard-long “Canyon” that contains steep rock walls in excess of 7 feet in height, slippery steep rock waterfalls, nasty ledges, and generally inhospitable terrain. If they make it through the Canyon, it is onto Water Hole 3 and then a series of deep, slippery, dry climbs and descents. Provided they are still moving, they come fact-to-face with the deep, off-camber “Crevice” before dropping into Water Hole 6 and Water Hole 7.

30 years ago Doc Brown and Marty McFly gained mastery over time and space and made us all believe a Delorean could be a time machine. Today we’re looking at the clocktower climax of Robert Zemeckis’ Back to the Future. Subscribe: http://goo.gl/9AGRm
We’ll take a look at the scene that got audiences cheering as they watched Doc finally remedy a series of over the top mishaps that could have derailed Marty’s attempt to get back to his own time. Luckily the mishaps during filming were small and relatively unimportant (well except that whole let’s recast the star even though we’ve already shot a bunch of scenes part).
The mix of a director passionate about the project, the right actors, and a striking set piece make the Back to the Future’s clocktower climax one of the most memorable scenes in movie history. The movie itself is fantastic and definitely earned its sequels, but that clocktower scene really clinched how epic the film was.
What did you think? Did you learn something new about Back to the Future’s climax at the clock tower? Which Back to the Future film is your favorite? What other scenes would you like us to explore in future episodes?
