غرق عامل يدعى ” روبرت هيرشي ” كان يعمل بمصنع للفطائر في مدينة ( أوننغتون ) بولاية بنسلفانيا ﻓﻲ وعاء ﺿﺨﻢ ﻟﻠﺸﻮﻛﻮﻻ‌ﺗﻪ .. ﻓﻘﺪ ﺩﺃﺏ ﺍﻟﻌﺎﻣﻞ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻟﻌﻖ ﺍﻟﺸﻮﻛﻮﻻ‌ﺗﻪ ﺍﻟﺴﺎﺋﻠﺔ ﺑﻴﻦ ﺍﻟﺤﻴﻦ ﻭ ﺍﻵ‌ﺧﺮ .. ﻭﻓﻲ ﺃﺣﺪ ﺍﻷ‌ﻳﺎﻡ ﻭﻓﻲ ﻏﻔﻠﺔ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﻤﺪﻳﺮ إﻧﺤﻨﻰ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻗﺪﺭ ﺍﻟﺸﻮﻛﻮﻻ‌ﺗﻪ اﻟﻀﺨﻢ ﻟﻴﻠﻌﻖ ﻣﻨﻪ ﻓسقط به وﻏﺮﻕ على الفور

فى المركز التاسع
كان النمساوي (هانز ستينينجير ) مشهور بلحيته التي كانت أطول لحية في العالم حيث بلغ طولها 1.4 متر وقد مات بسببها , ففي أحد أيام عام 1567 شبت النيران في البلدة وكان ( هانز ) المتعجل قد نسي لف لحيته لأعلي فداس عليها عن طريق الخطأ وفقد توازنه ليسقط ويكسر عنقه ويموت على الفور
