أعلنت الفنانة شيرين عبد الوهاب تراجعها عن قرار الاعتزال والعودة إلي الغناء، مؤكدة أن تراجعها جاء استجابة لكل جمهورها ومحبيها في كل العالم العربي.
وقالت شيرين في تصريحات خاصة للكاتب الصحفي محمود موسي، تنشرها جريدة «الأهرام» وهي أول صحيفة تنشر تصريحات لها، اليوم الجمعة: قرار عودتي للغناء جاء استجابة
واحتراما لكل زملائي الفنانين واساتذتي والناس الذين طالبوني بالعودة، واتمني من الله عز وجل أن أكون قدر المسئولية التي حملني لها الجمهور مرة اخري.
وعن موعد عودتها قالت سيكون من حفلات مباشرة قريبا سواء في مصر أو المغرب من خلال المشاركة في مهرجان «موازين»، مشيرة إلي أن الأيام الماضية ما بين قرار الاعتزال
والعودة كشفت لها ان الفنان ملك جمهوره، وان حب الناس هو فقط وراء عودتها للغناء مرة اخري.
وعبرت شيرين عن احترامها للصحافة المصرية ، قائلة: «كلهم علي رأسي،
ولكن في لحظة قرار الاعتزال ابلغت الأصدقاء الصحفيين الذين وجدت ارقامهم امامي في اللحظة، ولكن ستظل الصحافة المصرية هي التي كبرتني وساندتي وقوتني دائما،
