You’d think working at Marvel Studios, home of the Marvel Cinematic Universe would be a dream job but not according to these actors. While there are more than five, these actors have been brutally open about their relationship with the film studio and none of it is very flattering. Christopher Eccleston, a former Dr. Who, played the villain Malekith in Thor The Dark World and even though the film is probably dead last on everyone’s list of favorite MCU films, the actor has some pretty terrible comments about his filming experience, citing it as life ending. Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster was what kept Thor motivated through his first two films but she’s since been written out of the MCU, largely to do with her willingness to work with the studio ever since a dust up over the director of Thor’s sequel. Hugo Weaving did not appear in Avengers Infinity War due to comments he made years ago about working as the Red Skull. Despite working with blockbuster roles in the past, working with Marvel was so off putting that he said never again-and this is the guy who did the Matrix sequels. Mickey Rourke is an Oscar winning actor and he absolutely hated his time on Iron Man 2 as the villain. Same with Ed Norton, who was cut out of the MCU due to comments he made about working with the studio, comments that he’s still talking about to this day. Hopefully, these actors are in the minority when it comes to working with Marvel!
