Avengers: Endgame has arrived and it’s broken all manner of box office records in the process. Since this is a big finale of sorts, it sports a number of epic and amazing action sequences sure to make superhero fans the world over lose their collective minds. But the fates of certain characters leave a big question mark for what’s to come in Phase 4.

BEWARE. SPOILERS AHEAD.

Natasha Romanov, a.k.a. Black Widow, met her demise while trying to obtain the Soul Stone. She sacrificed herself for her best bud Hawkeye, so he could have the chance to see his family again. Her loner, slightly selfish nature had been significantly changed thanks to her time spent with her surrogate family, the Avengers.

But with Black Widow’s death, we have to ask, where does Marvel Studios intend to go with her solo movie? We know Scarlett Johansson’s involved, so it’s unlikely it’ll be a prequel. Still, there are plenty of great stories to tell, both from her past and the present day.

First and foremost, Natasha’s entire upbringing is a mystery. The Red Room, her training, all of it. What were her years like as a KGB agent? Also, how did she end up meeting Hawkeye? How exactly did he save her life? Perhaps will get something like Richard K. Morgan’s Homecoming run, which intercuts a modern day Black Widow tale with her origin story. Or maybe we’ll get something that takes place between the fallout of SHIELD and Avengers: Infinity War.

Whatever the case, there’s plenty in store for Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Let’s take a deep dive and explore some of our favorite possibilities.

While we enjoyed nearly three hours of epic moments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe during Avengers: Endgame, all anyone seems to be debating is one of the final moments. You know the one — Old Man Steve Rogers shows up on the lakeside bench, reveals he spent the rest of his lifetime in the past and decides to pass his shield onto the Falcon.

According to the film’s own timeline rules — people were pretty quick to cry FOUL and point out the major issues with old man Captain America, but we’re here to tell you — this wasn’t a plot hole at all. The writers and directors didn’t just go all willy nilly and toss the scene in for story closure. Everything was meticulously thought out and planned — just not fully explained on screen. So, now we will become the true heroes of the story and break down how Steve Roger’s off-screen adventures were not a plot hole at all and how he didn’t break up Peggy Carter’s family or erase them from a timeline — even though it clearly seems that way.

Thankfully, the three hour runtime of Endgame allowed the filmmakers to squeeze in plenty of exposition, explaining their rules of time travel and what we would all expect when the Avengers traveled back in time and through multiple eras. The rules were laid out by Professor Hulk, questions were asked, we were given answers, and everything all seemed to make sense. Right up until Steve Rogers goes to return all of the Infinity Stones and comes back as an old man. So what exactly happened there?! Learn how Captain America was able to travel back through time, live his whole life in happiness and return to the present day where he secured the future of the Captain America mantle for everyone!

Chris Hemsworth’s Thor Odinson has been one of the most prominent and important characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since he first appeared back in 2011, in his debut solo movie – and that was never more true a fact than in this year’s Avengers: Endgame.

He played a huge role in the movie – along with several other characters, like Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow and Doctor Strange – but he’d changed a lot since Avengers: Infinity War and he felt quite problematic in a number of ways as a result.

In this video, we’ll be discussing all the problems with Thor in Avengers: Endgame – and there WILL be spoilers (both in the video itself AND the following text).

The main problem came due to the fact that his predicament was played for laughs – and given that his predicament was that he was overweight, practically addicted to alcohol, and suffering from mental problems, that wasn’t cool.

But his power levels were also all over the place and completely inconsistent with previous portrayals. How, for example, did Stormbreaker nearly kill Thanos when he was wielding all six Infinity Stones in Avengers: Infinity War, yet Thor was nearly killed by a stone-free Thanos when he had both Stormbreaker AND Mjolnir in Avengers: Endgame?! It really doesn’t make any sense?
