D3Live: Wii U vs PlayStation Move vs Kinect

D3Live: Wii U vs PlayStation Move vs Kinect

In this episode of D3Live I take a look at the Nintendo Wii U controller vs PlayStation Move for the PlayStation 3 vs Kinect for the Xbox 360.

Announced at E3 2011 earlier this week, the Nintendo Wii U controller has a lot of divided opinions. It contains a 6.2 inch touchscreen, an array of typical controller buttons along with a camera, microphone and motion sensors.

Released last year we have the PlayStation Move for the PS3. The PS Move is very similar to the original Wii controller with a pair of controllers to be held in each hand that sense motion. However with the Move you have the added benefit of accessories such as the PlayStation Move Sharpshooter and many solid hardcore games such as Killzone 3.

Kinect for the Xbox 360 has been quite the success since it was released late last year. What separates Kinect from the Wii U and PlayStation Move is the unique control scheme of using a set of cameras and microphones to track the player in real time as opposed to needing to hold a physical controller.

D3Live is a weekly show I do live every Saturday at 3PM Eastern time live on BlogTV. If you are interested in asking me questions for the video or just watching the show live keep an eye out as I will post a video here on YouTube before I begin. http://www.blogtv.com/people/duncan33303
