We’re big fans of the Toyota GT86, but always wondered what it would be like with more power and stickier tyres. About 250bhp and 250lb ft of torque should do it, so we sent Steve Sutcliffe to compare the Fensport GT86 Turbo with the standard coupe. When Fensport then gave us the keys to their mind-blowing 335bhp GT86 racer, we decided to see just how hard a McLaren 12C would need to be driven to keep up with the humble Toyota.
