يقدر إجمالي ثروات أغنى 5 نساء بالعالم بنحو 143.2 مليار دولار، بحسب تصنيف مجلة «فوربس» لعام 2014. وترجع أغلب مصادر الثروات إلى ميراث عائلي بخلاف الفرنسية ليليان بيتانكور صاحبة العلامة التجارية العالمية في مستحضرات التجميل «لوريال».

1- كريستي وولتن (59 سنة) أميركية
36.7 مليار دولار إجمالي ثروتها
أرملة جون وولتن صاحب سلسلة محالات التجزئة العالمية «وول مارت»

2- ليليان بيتانكور (91 سنة) فرنسية
34.5 مليار دولار إجمالي ثروتها
صاحبة شركة «لوريال» لمستحضرات التجميل

3- اليس وولتون (64 سنة) أميركية
34.3 مليار دولار إجمالي ثروتها
ابنة سام والتن شريك بسلسلة التجزئة «وول مارت»

4- جاكلين مارس (74 سنة) أميركية
20 مليار دولار إجمالي ثروتها
وريثة الجيل الثالث لمجموعة «مارس» أكبر شركة لإنتاج الحلويات بالعالم.

5- جينا راينهارت (60 عاماً) أسترالية
17.7 مليار دولار إجمالي ثروتها
ورثتها عن أبيها صاحب مصانع الفحم والحديد الخام بشمال وغرب استراليا
10%
نسبة النساء داخل قائمة أغنى أغنياء العالم البالغة 1.645 شخصاً في 2014.

عربيا نساء الخليج يملكن ثروات يقدر مجموعها بنحو 385 مليار دولار. هذا ما كشف عنه تقرير صدر في دبي عن شركة الألماسة كابيتال ليمتد لإدارة الأصول البديلة والذي أوضح أن المرأة الخليجية تتخذ اليوم خطوات جادة لتجاوز دورها التقليدي وتحرز تقدما ملحوظا على صعيد العمل والتعليم والتنمية الاجتماعية والاقتصادية
