But it wasn’t until well into Cruise’s career, with the first Mission: Impossible, that huge stunts were part of his movie star persona. The white room heist in Mission: Impossible was the culmination of studio deals, script re-writes, a lot of homages to movie history, and some exemplary work by the stunt and editing crews.
