تدور أحداث المسلسل حول هانم الفتاة التي تبيع الشاي في حي (زنقة الستات) بـ(المنشية) في (الإسكندرية)، تتولى مسئولية عائلتها بعد دخول والدها السجن والذي كان يعمل سائقا لدى إحدى الأسر الغنية، تتعلق هانم بحب شاب وتكتشف بعد ذلك أنه ضابط شرطة ويقوم بمهمة سرية.
