I made some minor modifications to this “Clothespin Gun” idea, as well as loads of personal testing and experimenting that resulted in over 7 prototypes, but in the end, this design proved to be really great, and a fun toy for me and my kids.

GM started an upward trend in the compact class when the Cruze replaced the lackluster Cobalt in 2011. With clean styling, a spacious cabin, a peppy turbo engine, and competitive fuel-efficiency the Chevrolet Cruze looked to erase any bad memories left by its predecessors.
