Heavy Duty truck buyers only have so many choices so when a new version comes out consumers and press take notice. Chevrolet’s #SilveradoHD was one of the oldest trucks on the market but for 2020, that has changed with the all-new version that takes cues directly from the smaller #ChevroletSilverado half-ton. Under the hood, the #Silverado2500 gets two 6.6L V8 engines in gas and #DuramaxDiesel options along with a new 10-speed #Allison transmission for the #Duramax diesel engine. The result is a truck with some of the best driving dynamics in the segment, married to an interior that is in desperate need of a refresh.

After nearly 30 years since #Toyota discontinued the Camry All-Trac, America’s favorite midsize sedan is back with 4-wheel traction in the form of the 2020 #CamryAWD and for the first time ever, #AvalonAWD. Essentially using the same #AWD system as the Toyota Rav4, the new #ToyotaCamryAWD is available on all but the base L trim for only $1500 extra. Buyers in the snowy states will likely be adding this option as Toyota expect the all-weather #Camry to account for about 15-20% of sales.

Kia had one of the smallest SUV lineups in the US for quite some time. Last year, they added the much needed and very popular Telluride to the family and for 2021, the subcompact SUV segment is heating up with the addition of the new #KiaSeltos. The small #Kia #Seltos is based on the Hyundai Kona platform but is slightly larger and with its own unique interior and exterior. The result is a car that looks much more expensive and distinctive than its price would suggest. With a starting price of under $22,000, we expect this new #SeltosSX to be a hot new entry into the segment, just like its bigger brother #KiaTelluride.

#Hyundai and #Kia were once the butt of car company jokes in America about 30 years ago but today, the two brands together represent the 3rd best-selling car company across the world. With so many improvements made to design, build quality, reliability, value, and driving dynamics. Both Hyundai and Kia currently builds some of the best cars money can buy and although their new #Genesis luxury division was off to a slow start, the upcoming #GenesisGV80 should really put midsize SUV luxury buyers on notice when it goes on sale later this year.

Luxury crossover SUV’s are a hot segment in America and one that has constantly been dominated by German entries like the Audi Q7, BMW X7, and Mercedes-Benz GLS. For 2020, Lincoln through their hat into the mix with the all-new from the ground up, #LincolnAviator. Its still based on a Ford Explorer and back after a 15 year hiatus in America. The new #Lincoln #AviatorReserve has all the trimmings that we expect from a large 3-row luxury crossover but blends it with the type of American luxury we’ve been missing from Lincoln in recent years. The new #AviatorGrandTouring is also the first-ever plug-in hybrid Lincoln.

Now in its 13th year without a full redesign, the #ToyotaTundra is one of the oldest new trucks you can buy in America and although the competition has moved on, Toyota is trying to keep the truck as fresh as possible. For 2020, the #TundraTRDPro gets a new Army Green exterior color and a new infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and finally Android Auto. It makes the interior a bit more modern, but the #Toyota #Tundra still gets the worse MPG in the entire segment. A new model is supposedly coming in the next year or two.

The #JeepGladiator has been a huge success for #Jeep when it came out last year and in order to continue broadening its appeal, the company is introducing a new “Desert Rated” #GladiatorMojave with a modified suspension, wheels, drivetrain, and exterior design. Its not quite the Ford Raptor competitor from Jeep but those of you looking to drive at high speeds on desert roads with the top down will find plenty to like with this new #Gladiator. #CAS2020

If you need a vehicle that can tow heavy loads and carry 8 people in comfort, the #ChevroletTahoe and #ChevroletSuburban have long been the standard in the segment. For 2021, both the #Tahoe and #Suburban get a complete redo that includes a first-ever fully independent rear suspension. The increases interior space by over 30% and for the first time ever an optional 3.0L #Duramax diesel 6-cylinder engine which should give it the best fuel economy in the segment. It goes on sale in the spring of 2020.

The #JaguarFType will easily go down as one of the sexiest sports car ever made in the 2010 decade. As we move into the 2020’s, the #FType gets its first substantial makeover since 2014 and the changes make this new version even better looking. #Jaguar even managed to make this new model slightly less expensive as well.
