Once upon a time, the #AcuraTL was the best-selling luxury sport sedan in the US. About 15 years ago, #Acura outdid themselves with the 3rd generation TL that really shocked. the world and showed Acura just serious they were about going after the best from Germany. When the #TypeS model returned in 2007, its near 300 HP V6, available 6-speed manual, and stunning looks had a lot of enthusiast trading in BMW, Audi, and Mercedes sport sedans. Today, Acura seems a bit lost but there is a glimmer of hope on the horizon as a #TLXTypeS is coming very soon with a turbo V6 and SH-AWD. Until that new car arrives, the old 2008 #TLTypeS still represents the best that Acura has to show for a sport sedan and its exactly why used examples can command a premium, especially if they’re in good shape.

With the 2021 #TeslaModelY beginning deliveries on March 15th, #Tesla must do everything it can to build as much as possible. With the Model 3 being such a huge success as a sedan, the new #ModelY takes everything we like about the #Model3 and adds the additional space, seating, ride height, and cargo capacity that so many consumers demand in this SUV hungry world. With up to 315 miles of range, 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, and a starting price of around $40,000 dollars, Tesla expects global sales of the Model Y to exceed the Model S, Model X, and Model 3 all together. With so many consumers wanting a compact crossover, we expect the new Model Y to be the game changing vehicle that finally allows Tesla to start making some money after years of losses.

A long time ago, the words sporty and Kia just didn’t go hand in hand, however that all changed three years ago with the introduction of the Stinger GT. The original #AudiQ7 was Audi’s first attempt at building an SUV and it was such a successful vehicle, #Audi kept the #Q7 around for nearly a decade before introducing a replacement. When the new model was introduced in 2017, it didn’t have the same stand-out design as the original model because it looked too much like a hatchback and less like an SUV that would compete with Range Rovers. For 2020, Audi is rectifying that but giving the Q7 the most comprehensive refresh that’ve ever done without a full redesign while introducing a new fire-breathing #AudiSQ7 for the first time with up to 500 HP from a new 4.0L twin-turbo V8.

The #AcuraTL has had a long history in the Acura portfolio here in the US. A replacement for the old Acura Vigor in the 90’s, the #TL quickly grew to become the best-selling model in Acura’s US lineup. Evolving over the years into a legitimate sport sedan rivals to the German players, while maintaining Acura’s reputation of better value and much better reliability. Acura hit a high point in the mid-2000’s with the 3rd generation #AcuraTLTypeS but things took a turn for the worst in 2009 when the beak-line front fascia appeared on the 4th generation. In 2015, the TL was replaced with the #AcuraTLX and sales never quite recovered. Can Acura once again find its glory days with the next-generation #TLX due in 2021?

Volkswagen may have been a bit late to the SUV party, but with the new #Atlas joining the lineup in 2018, it’s allowed SUV’s to account for over 50% of sales in the US. For 2020, VW is expanding the Atlas family to include the #AtlasCrossSport. Built off the same MQB platform as the bigger 3-row model, the new #VolkswagenAtlasCrossSport is about 5 inches shorter and has the same kind of slopping roofline we see on some luxury SUV’s. It’s about the same size as the old #Touareg and one of the roomiest models in the segment, but those of you with an old Touareg may still find the level of luxury is not quite up to the same snuff as VW’s original SUV.

Now taking to title as the best-selling #MercedesBenz in the US, the 2020 #GLC300 and #GLC300Coupe get numerous tweaks this year in the form of new styling, more power, and improved tech features.
