External SSD based storage… Does it make sense yet? It’s certainly hard to justify the increased cost versus a hard drive, but the benefits are certainly tangible, and this isn’t like the OCZ Enyo. At that point the cost to capacity was NOT there. Now, for some elite (read: enough cashola) users, it’s a feasible solution.

Basically the Protag does what it says it does, and at least on the Android the app was quite simple to use and effective. The main drawback of the device in my mind is the fact that it runs on Bluetooth so you’ll need to keep that enabled on your phone. With that said, I wouldn’t use something like this every day… It’s more like something I’d use in special scenarios such as when I’m traveling.

It all started with finding out about the IP exploit for SKYPE and getting the open BETA email about Razer Comms. I downloaded it and had Slick do the same and within about a week his entire gaming group had switched over to Comms.

I’ve wanted to do live calling on the show (whether from celebrity guests or from community members) for a long time, and I approached Razer about using Comms as a platform for it during our weekly live stream The WAN Show. It’s easy to setup and voice quality has been very good from my experience.

So that’s where the background for this video comes from. Other than that it’s just kinda a fun video so I hope you enjoy watching it.
