حصلت شركة غوغل العملاقة لخدمات الانترنت على براءة اختراع “ساعة ذكية” مزودة بشاشة معلومات متحركة وتعمل فيما يبدو على غرار “النظارات الذكية” وهو اختراع آخر من اختراعات غوغل تترقبه الأسواق.
وتشير براءة الاختراع التي كشف عنها النقاب موقع “تيك هايف” المعني بأخبار التكنولوجيا إلى أن الساعة سوف تحتوي على معالج ووحدة بث لاسلكي وكاميرا وشاشة شفافة متحركة.
وسوف تتيح وحدة البث اللاسلكي إمكانية الربط بين الساعة وبين الهواتف المحمولة من إجل استعراض البيانات التي تصل عبر الهاتف مثل الرسائل النصية والبريد الإلكتروني وإخطارات التحديث وغيرها، فضلا عن إمكانية الدخول على شبكة الانترنت. وسوف يتم ربط الكاميرا بشاشة الساعة بحيث يمكن تحديد الوجهة التي “تنظر” إليها الساعة، وسوف تستغل هذه الخاصية في عرض معلومات واقعية عن المكان المحيط بالساعة.
وسوف تستخدم الساعة الذكية تقنية “النظام العالمي لتحديد المواقع” والكاميرا لتقديم معلومات دقيقة بشأن أماكن تواجدها. ويمكن استخدام هذه الخاصية على سبيل المثال أثناء التواجد بالقرب من أحد المعالم التاريخية حيث يمكن توجيه الساعة نحو الأثر التاريخي، وسوف تقوم بدورها بتصويره وعرض أي معلومات متوافرة عنه على الشاشة الشفافة عن طريق شبكة الانترنت.
ولم يتضح بعد ما إذا كانت غوغل تعتزم تطوير الساعة بالتزامن مع “النظارات الذكية” أم أنها سيتم تطويرها كمنتج منفصل تماما، إلا أن الشيء المؤكد أن هذه الساعة تمثل خطوة جديدة على طريق شركة غوغل لتطوير أجهزة كمبيوتر يمكن ارتدائها.
