The spotlight shifts from the truck’s go-fast prowess to the driver’s ability to navigate a CDL-style obstacle while maneuvering with a 10,000-pound tractor-carrying trailer in tow. Devon Faraci over at Badass Digest has stated with a decent amount of certainty that the inciting action of the film is Luke’s lightsaber (and hand) crashing into a desert planet (not Tatooine!), and the Daisy Ridley and John Boyega find it and set out to return the lightsaber to its rightful Jedi owner.
So, does this sound like a good movie premise to you? Does it irk you as much as it does Clint the egregious violations of the laws of physics that would be involved in a hand accomplishing interstellar travel?
