Nintendo has had an amazing list of successes over the years, but they’ve also had their fair share of failures. While the Nintendo 64, Switch, and series of Mario games were all hits, there were a few blunders along the way. Before the Nintendo 64 was released to the masses, the console was being developed with Sony, but a battle over discs led to the partnership being canceled. Being a huge Nintendo fan should come with some perks, but the My Nintendo Rewards program is nothing special for fans.

Nintendo has developed some classic games and some of the earlier ones were made thanks to their development company known as Rare. In an odd move, Nintendo sold Rare and lost out on several future gaming franchises. Nintendo has been very protective over characters like Link and Mario, but the company actually loaned them to Phillips for the release of two CD-I games. Long before VR headsets were a thing, Nintendo tried their hand at it with the Virtual Boy, a failure upon arrival. The Wii U had some great features and titles, but the whole launch of the console was a massive failure and kept many gamers away from even considering the console. When the Wii came out, fans couldn’t get enough of the interactive controls. It then became too much when a bunch of pointless add-ons were released as controller extensions. The Nintendo 64 was a big hit and Nintendo tried to expand upon it with the release of the N64DD, but the project was a huge failure all around. Another controller Nintendo failed with was the gimmicky Power Glove released for the original NES. While the PS3 and Xbox 360 thrived with online gaming, the Wii felt like a console of the past with its poor online options. Watch and see the 10 biggest fails Nintendo wants you to forget!

Pokemon has done something few video game franchises have been able to accomplish. They have bridged the generation gap where parents are teaching their kids about the wonderful world of Pokemon. The initial releases of Pokémon Red and Blue not only sold millions of copies, but helped fuel the creation of the anime, movies, trading cards, and more. Pikachu has not only become the face of Pokémon but is a cultural icon as recognizable as Disney’s Mickey Mouse. When a franchise or property grows to be the size of what Pokémon has become, it’s bound to create communities of theory crafters and fan fiction creators. Considering there’s such a wide pool of media to choose from, it’s no surprise countless numbers of theories and threads pop-up on a frequent basis. Pokémon was initially created to spark wonder and adventure in children, but as those children grow up, they tend to look for deeper meaning in many aspects of Pokémon.

Sifting through these theories, it’s easy to see some of them are rooted in a ton of fact and correlation. There are even a couple of theories that are nothing more than a dreamer’s dream. Here are just a few of the hundreds of theories on Pokemon. Some of them are dark, some of them are possible, and some of them can be downright weird. Everyone has heard of the Super Mario Bros. Seriously, if you haven’t by now, you must be living under a rock. The video game franchise created by Nintendo is recognizable to both gamers and non-gamers alike which definitely says something about it’s popularity. Whether it’s playing the legendary Super Mario Bros. platformer games for the NES and SNES or having an awesome time with your friends playing Mario Kart, these games are incredibly fun to play.

Unlike some other Mario characters like Bowser and Wario, Princess Peach is a genuinely good person who cares about her friends. She may not be fit to lead a kingdom seeing as she’s always getting kidnapped, but that must be what comes with fame in the Mushroom Kingdom. Peach is pretty much a professional damsel in distress and Mario falls for it every single time. When Peach is in the clutches of Bowser, she often becomes brainwashed, possessed and enchanted under his influence. This could simply be Stockholm Syndrome or maybe she actually enjoys Bowser’s company? Either way, she turns into a completely different person, a terrible person.

Well, that must be how things work in the Mushroom Kingdom and while Princess Peach has done some awful things in her life, most of them were not completely her fault. When Bowser digs his claws into you, nothing good can come of it. Without further ado, here are 10 seriously terrible things Princess Peach has done. Enjoy!
