My second bite at the juicy cherry that is the Invicta 1953. When I looked at it last April, it was genuinely smoking hot. This time around, not so much, but still a great way to spend $100 if you want a very attractive, and nicely rounded retro diver. Cheers, Jody

What do you think about Birth Year wathches? Passing fad, or worthwhile heirloom? I’m still not sure, but when you are born in 1975, there is inherent risk in finding one! For now, I’m happy with this retro reissue. Definitely the best Timex reissue that I’ve looked at so far, but then again, that isn’t really saying much, is it? Cheers, Jody

Tjhese launch in four hours, so if you are keen, set an alarm! I like the Mako range, and the titanium just makes them all the more wearable. The styling is not going to be universally appreciated, even in this, their most sedate model, but the value on offer is beyond question. Cheers, Jody

San Martin (say it how you like) are the best brand on Ali, I reckon, and these are two of their best watches. The Explore style one is an absolute stunner and I’ve been wearing it a lot since I made this video. I think I’ll pick up a sterile one for the full review video. It is that nice. Cheers, Jody
