Thanks again, Marty! Please do keep in touch if you pick up any more lovely Seikos. I do like this one a lot, more on the leather than the mesh, actually, but it is a real cutie either way. If I’m ever in a Conde Naste Traveller, 6 star hotel, I’ll kow just what watch to bring with me. Cheers, Jody

How much difference does 2mm make? Quite a bit, actually. The watch looks MUCH bigger on wrist, and with the extra 4mm on the lug-to-lug, it wears much bigger too. Do I like it? Yes, more 1963 is a good thing, but for me, I still prefer the 38mm. Cheers, Jody

Thanks to Ashley for being too old and blind to see the numbers on this one. Ha! Cheeky mate, I know. It is a fun piece, but there are better Casio G-Shocks out there, including, somewhat ironically, the 5600 models that predate it by a decade or more. Progress isn’t always actually progress. Cheers, Jody
