Massive thank you again to Adam for his generous gifts to me and to the wee man. I may not have approved of this colour choice, but I love his choice of watch. Like I said, many times, there are layers to this one and even if you don’t get to the core, there is still plenty to like. Part 2 coming in early August. Cheers, Jody

There are definitely elements of several other different Zelos models here. Does that make this new Comet a little bit been-there-done-that? Or is it their Greatest Hits instead? I guess that depends on whether or not you actually have the other models! Cheers, Jody

A whole watch for $10 more than the price of the movement? Hmmmmm. What’s the catch? Well, I think iffy QC is the cathc, but there is still a lot to like here if you are looking for a big and chunky diver. Cheers, Jody

Great to see a small brand like Direnzo reissueing one of their older models. A common complaint about micros is there is never any stock! Some trendy colours here too, and a couple of old favourites. It is not going to be for everyone, but it is a seriously good watch, all round, for the money they are charging. Cheers, Jody
