A riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma. That’s the RZE Resolute Super-Compressor Filed Watch with 12 hour bezel. Will you be buying one? Does this open the floodgates to ‘anything goes’ watch design? Is it a problem if it does? The comments section is going to be fun for this one. Cheers, Jody

Go on then, hand on heart, had you heard of Seiko Premier?! If I had, it had gone in one ear and out of the other, I can tell you that much. A watch range for people that aren’t all that into wathches? Perhaps. Not without the odd redeeming feature though, but the styling of this one is a mess. Cheers, Jody

A cracking pair of classic, German made fliegers, that have the right name on the dial and a good price. So long as you don’t hit the options list, that is! It is a shame that they didn’t make more of the 42mm versions so as to offer that option, but hey, that is what a limited edition means, I guess. Cheers, Jody

Thank you to Casio Australia for sponsoring this video and for letting me play with a whol heap of new Edificeseses. My verdict? Three steps forwards, three steps backwards! Some improvements over the old models, for sure, but these seems to have come at the expense of slight backwards steps in other areas. Maybe they will put those lovely dials in a 40mm case at some point. But at least one can still buy the original if one wants to. Cheers, Jody

Thanks to everyone who offered to get me one of these! And thanks to the sub who told me I could buy one on Amazon.com.au duh! So much better than I had expected. And, say it quietly, so much better than a $35 Casio with its metal case and wearable bracelet. Not for everyone, but as an occasional wear novelty piece, totally worth it. Cheers, Jody
