Thanks again to Mr P for allowing me to peel and reveal his C63 (AMG?!). CW do a really good job between $750USD and $1500USD, making watches that are way better built thank many of the other entry level ‘Swiss’ brands. This looks like a well refined and though out product with a beautiful case. That SW200-1 was not 100% happy though, he needs to keep an eye on that. Cheers, Jody

Perhaps this is a slightly extreme method, basically making the wtach unsaleble, butt hey, if it stops us serial flippers from flipping then there is some merit in it, right? I can’t believe that I haven’t actually done this before! Not a head-to-head review as such, more a mini reveiw of the new Pagani, and a closer look at some of the ways in which it gets close to the Roller, and some of the areas where it falls short. You really don’t see many aventurine, arabic dial chronos around here, do you? It is always a risk when a small brand does something as different as this, but I think it is well priced and so they should sell a few units. They need to make a decision about thier logo though, and stick to it! Cheers, Jody

Have Axios invented a new sub-genre here? I’v enever seen a field watch quite this dressy before! Maybe opt for black or grey if you want somethign more demure, but the gold and salmon pink sure do pop. Very nicely made for $250USD, but the full RRP is getting into Hammy territory, and that has to be scary for any young brand. Cheers, Jody
