Perhaps this is a bit of wishful thinking, bbut my fingers are crossed that we see more decent microbrand quartz watches this year. If anyone is going to lead the quartz charge, it is going to be micros, due to their access to movements, and their agility to jump on opportunities. This Pitzmann Overture is a good start, but could probably be a little more refined, and a little cheaper before it really hits a home run, to use the ‘classic’ sporting analogy. Cheers, Jody

I have been saying for years that these are the best affordable fliegers. Couple of moans, of course, and this one REALLY needed the AR coating on the crystal, but an affordable classic, and I am delighted that Laco still make them. Cheers, Jody
