I love making these nerdy vids, and I think this is by far the strongest selection of 8 watches on the table thus far. Can the Rolex Explorer 2 recapture some lost pride for the Big R? I am in a bit of a quandary over this one. How can a company produce a watch that is so close to a vintage design, and yet manages to look a bit kitsch at the same time? I love making these videos! I think I’m becoming a sticker peeling fetishist….. The boxes are similar, but these two are pretty different. The Formex hasn’t left my wrist since I made the video, and hasn’t lost a second. It is everything I was hoping it would be. The Tuna was a bit of a surprise, to be honest, in a good way. I needn’t have worried, Seiko know how to make a BIG watch fit well. Cheers, Jody
