OK, so I know I’ve looked at this one a couple of times beforre, but this is on a metal bracelet! Any excuse really, to rereview one of my favourite budget Casio beaters. Of course there are more rugged watches from their range if you want to spend double this price, but some people must have metal. Cheers, Jody

My second bite at the juicy cherry that is the Invicta 1953. When I looked at it last April, it was genuinely smoking hot. This time around, not so much, but still a great way to spend $100 if you want a very attractive, and nicely rounded retro diver. Cheers, Jody

What do you think about Birth Year wathches? Passing fad, or worthwhile heirloom? I’m still not sure, but when you are born in 1975, there is inherent risk in finding one! For now, I’m happy with this retro reissue. Definitely the best Timex reissue that I’ve looked at so far, but then again, that isn’t really saying much, is it? Cheers, Jody
