10 Facts About Super Mario Too Inappropriate For Kids

Video games can provide entertainment, comedy, and of course scares. In games like Silent Hill, the scares are intentional. Other times, game developers put Easter Eggs into games that really increase the scare factor, create urban legends, and freak gamers out more than the scariest horror movie. There are ten games with creepy Easter eggs that can catch players off-guard and completely change the way they play.

In Half-Life 2, it’s normal for players to see zombies marching along and rambling random phrases. Well, if you reverse those phrases, you will get a shocking surprise. The original Xbox console changed the video game world as a whole, but it also made many people feel like their house was haunted because of the noises that came from it. Slenderman has had cameos in all types of movies, television shows, and video games. One of his creepiest Easter eggs appears in the action platform game known as Runner 2. Psycho-Mantis is one of the craziest villains in the Metal Gear Solid series. He didn’t just use his skills to scare Snake, but he could break the fourth wall and scare anyone that was playing. The horror franchise Five Nights at Freddy’s has inspired a number of remakes and spin-off games. One of them is based off of Disney World and features a scary menu-based Easter Egg. Jason Vorhees may have his own video game now, but the character makes a cameo appearance in the zombie survival game Dead Island. Other creepy Easter eggs include moments in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 zombies, Mortal Kombat 9, Condemned Criminal Origins, and Super Mario 3D Land.

Minecraft has become one of the most successful video games of all time since its release in November 2011. Minecraft is a sandbox style video game that has grown tremendously through the years. Pretty much everyone has heard of Minecraft at one point or another. The game is still going strong today expanding to multiple platforms including PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android. The game has sold around 125 million copies worldwide with an ever-expanding community.

In Minecraft, you are able to customize your character and the world around you using skins and resource packs respectively. A skin changes the way your character looks and there are plenty of different skins out there to make you look like your favourite Nintendo characters. From Mario to Samus to even Link, a skin for almost every character is available online. When it comes to resource packs, the most popular one is the Super Mario Mash Up Pack that was released alongside the Wii U Edition of Minecraft and is also available for the Nintendo Switch version. This resource pack changes all the blocks and enemies into those we have seen in the Super Mario games. We get to see Super Mario classics such as Bloopers, Boos, Piantas and Yoshi’s all invade the world of Minecraft. Without further ado, here are 10 times Nintendo characters were spotted in Minecraft.
