One of the most anticipated games of fall 2017 is Star Wars: Battlefront 2. The sequel looks to greatly improve upon the first release and provide gamers with a lot of different game modes in the Star Wars universe. Just like any game, there are some things we love and some things we hate about the upcoming triple A title.

Shooting accuracy has vastly improved in Battlefront 2 with more weapon options and better ways to shoot. The game has introduced a controversial daily crate system which is a more complicated way to earn upgrades. The Star Wars universe is beautifully created and detailed through multiple level designs including planets like Naboo. More maps will only showcase more great level designs. Does Star Wars have a pigeon problem? In the beta, birds are constantly flying around and can become a major distraction. Darth Maul makes his next generation debut and he is one of the best players to control in the game. The UI Clutter can make it hard to fly ships around and have space battles. The AT-RT is a walking vehicle that will make you wish you had one in real life. When playing online, you may find yourself surrounded by expert players within the game. The new Strike Mode is a great man versus man mission-based system without all the extra clutter. Too many special editions can make it hard to chose which game to purchase. Watch to see all the positive and negative aspects of the new Battlefront game.

Mario is back and better than ever in one of his most ambitious games of all time. Super Mario Odyssey is going to be a game changer for the Switch, especially with all the rumors that have come out about the game. Everyone knows you can play through levels as Mario and his friend Cappy, but rumors have been swirling that Peach and Tiara can also be unlocked as playable characters.

Bowser once again serves as Mario’s main enemy, but his use of Cappy can turn the final levels of the game into some type of crazy speed run. Mario may truly feel like a fish out of water, especially when he transforms into the character Cheep Cheep while on land. A lot of the game has been built around a wedding involving Peach and Bowser, but which couple will actually get married in the game? One of the coolest worlds and levels involves the dinosaur kingdom and Mario’s ability to turn into a realistic looking t-rex. The days of bouncing on turtle shells and throwing them have completely evolved to include some pretty crazy combinations. The game pays homage to the classic Mario games with a vast variety of 2D level action and old school graphics fans will love. When going from world to world, Mario’s journey will not be forgotten as he builds and collects items for his special souvenir room. Will Luigi be left out of the game again? Some clues point to his inclusion. The ending to the game could be one of the most shocking of all time and may lead to some big storyline changes in the future. Watch to see all of these rumors come to life!

In a world where we grew up singing along to the Pokemon theme song, it’s really hard to imagine not being “the very best” in something, but when it comes to beating Nintendo high scores, we might just have to be satisfied with our subpar playing standards. We’ll take a look at some of the best Nintendo gamers around. Adventure Island was a game that was changed to suit the needs of the West, but we did beat the competition by defeating the island’s final boss in under 40 seconds. If you’re wondering what the worst possible game based off of a movie is, it’s probably Back to the Future, but we have to give credit where it’s due since one gamer ended up beating the title in under 20 minutes. Ninja Gaiden is one of the most difficult games ever produced. It’s probably why it has such a cult-following and who wouldn’t be proud to secure the title of highest score in Ninja Gaiden on the extreme difficulty?

If you’re like us then you loved Matt Stone and Trey Parker’s first foray into the gaming world; South Park and the Stick of Truth. The game reflected the edgy and dark sense of humor the show has become famous for, while paying homages to the fantasy and RPG tropes we all love, like those found in Final Fantasy, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and so many more. With their second game just released, South Park: Fractured But Whole, thei time focusing on superheroes, and acting as a parody of Iron Man and Captain America’s break up in Captain AMerica: Civil War. We can’t wait for this game, so as we patiently twiddle our thumbs, these are some things we loved about this new game

Black Panther is one of the newest heroes to join the MCU. In the comics, there is a lot of deep lore and history to not only Black Panther, but T’Challa himself. Being the king of Wakanda, many of the stories deal with how he handles this while still maintaining his time as a superhero/protector of his country. And while we’ve seen Black Panther deflect bullets and put claw marks on Captain America’s shield, his capabilities go far beyond that. We’ve compiled a list of his awesome abilities you might not have known about.
