Hotel Transylvania 3 is a movie aimed at young children so the plot and story work on a pretty simple basis, but when you break things down, there are a number of elements which make absolutely no sense. Let’s dive in to recap the Adam Sandler film, discuss these things, and see where the third HT movie took a turn.

All of the crew members aboard the HT 3 cruise ship are actually talking fish with large human feet. The absurd design left us with a whole lot of questions. The cruise ship featured a casino on it where Frankenstein lost his pair of hands and had to replace them with lobster claws. His body was already stitched up from other parts — why couldn’t he find replacement hands once the cruise ended? The ship size looked like a replica of the Titanic, but was much more massive than you could imagine. What were all the extra floors for?! Speaking of a massive size, why was the giant puppy brought with everyone on vacation? Logistically, the whole size thing made absolutely no sense! Van Helsing set out to destroy monsters because they were so different, but his state in the movie made him more of a monster than anyone else on the ship. The Kraken is an evil sea monster called out to do battle against the monsters, but a special song helped get him away. But they had many other options to consider when choosing the perfect song. Watch to see all these crazy problems and several others from Hotel Transylvania 3.

Steven Universe is a popular American animated series that was the first cartoon to be created solely by a woman for Cartoon Network.

The woman in question, Maryland’s own Rebecca Sugar, based the lead character – a half-alien boy who lives with the Crystal Gems (magical, humanoid aliens named Pearl, Garnet, and Amethyst) in the fictional town of Beach City – on her younger brother Steven, who just so happens to be an artist on the series. The show follows the titular character’s adventures as he and his friends attempt to protect the world.

The show is, of course, aimed mainly at kids, so it’s largely inoffensive, but that didn’t stop certain parts of the world (the Middle East, the United Kingdom and the rest of Europe, for example) from censoring certain aspects of it – and that’s what this video’s all about.

Some of the things in the show that have been changed around the world include; dialogue in the show has been altered to be less offensive, signage in the show has been altered to be less offensive, the violence in the show has been watered-down considerably, anything deemed to be homosexual has been edited out (yes, really, in 2018!), and some scenes have been cut short (with some entire episodes not getting aired).

Tom Cruise’s fascination with doing extremely dangerous and crazy stunts is part of what makes the Mission Impossible films so successful. Each entry amps up the intensity and forces the audience to question the star’s sanity. Most of these stunts can be done with CGI, but that’s the cheap and easy way out according to Tom Cruise, who would rather risk life and limb to get the best stunt for the film. For instance, he’s learned some pretty advanced military skills in order to do scenes in the franchise, including being the first actor to do a HALO jump on screen for Mission Impossible: Fallout and learning how to deep dive with professional divers for an extended underwater sequence. He opened up Mission Impossible II with a daring cliff climb at Dead Horse Point in Utah, where he scaled the rocks with only a thin safety cord-no nets and no crash mats. He brought it up with Ghost Protocol and scaled the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa. He strapped himself to the side of a plane as it took off, supported only by a harness, battling the speed and the winds. The knife to the eye in MI2 was actually done for real-with a real knife because, why not at this point. Measurements were taken to make sure Cruise didn’t lose an eye in the process. He’s driven motorcycles without helmets at breakneck speeds, including in the city streets and on open highways. Most amazingly though, he learned to fly a helicopter for a mountain aerial chase scene in Mission Impossible-Fallout.
