Pikachu and a bunch of Pokémon are set to hit the big screen in Detective Pikachu starring Ryan Reynolds, but it’s not the first time these pocket monsters hit the big screen.

Back in the 90’s at the height of the Pokémon craze, Pokémon: The First Movie was released and introduced the world to the raw power of Mewtwo. Rewatching the film raises a lot of questions. Like why is it so short? What’s up with the “no fighting” lesson the character learn? Why does it get erased from their memory? Why does Mewtwo even want an army? Why are Brock and Misty there?

Why Captain America’s MCU Future Isn’t What We Thought

Ever since the character’s very first MCU movie back in 2011, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have expected the future of Captain America to go a certain way.

It’s been foreshadowed on a number of occasions – including in one particular scene in that first movie – but Avengers: Endgame confirmed the Captain America mantle would continue in a rather unexpected way going forward in the franchise.

In this video, we’ll be talking about why the future of Captain America in the MCU isn’t quite what we thought it would be.

The idea of an unexpected future for Captain America has unfolded in a number of ways; first, there’s the fact that, while we DID expect Steve Rogers to go back in time to live his happy ever after with Peggy Carter, we didn’t expect him to do it in such a selfish way. Then, there’s the fact that we didn’t really expect the Captain America mantle to be passed on to Sam Wilson instead of Bucky Barnes. And there’s also the fact that the new Captain America’s MCU future looks set to take place on television and NOT as part of the Avengers team – both of which are unexpected developments.

Welcome back to Screenrant! It’s no secret — Marvel is full of secrets! The studio goes above and beyond to keep spoilers away from viewers. One way of doing this is with several rules for their actors including limited script viewing and cell phone bans from sets. Well, not every actor has followed these Marvel rules over the years — with some consequences a little worse than others. Let’s take a journey with actors like Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, and Gwyneth Paltrow as they all break Marvel rules!

During a red carpet interview, the actress known for the role of Pepper Potts started spilling the beans. She revealed one of her favorite filming locations was a large lake and characters from “multiple movies” were on-set together. Shortly after Homecoming, Tom Holland revealed the plans for Spider-Man movies goes beyond the two originally announced. He also confirmed that none of the sequels would be titled “Homecoming 2 or 3”.At the end of Avengers: Infinity War, it was a pretty big surprise to see that Rocket Raccoon was the only surviving member of the Guardians of the Galaxy. We had hoped they would all come back in Endgame — but before Infinity War was even released, we had a good idea that Drax the Destroyer would live to fight another day. The reason? Dave Bautista revealed in multiple interviews that he was working on shoots and reshoots for Avengers: Endgame.
