Thanks to some leaked set photos from the solo Black Widow film, it seems that we may finally be seeing one of the Avengers most notorious villains making his way to the big screen.

Taskmaster, the trainer of some of the universe’s deadliest antagonists, and master of basically every fighting style ever, is coming to make Natasha Romanoff’s day just a little bit more difficult. But what if his presence in Black Widow isn’t just a one-off? What if this means bigger things for the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole? As we gear up for Phase 4, the rumors will only continue to grow and all of the leaks from the Black Widow movie will just increase the talk and chatter. After the success of Thanos in the MCU, a lot of eyes on who the next big bad will be and how they can deliver a compelling performance that is right up there with Thanos or even exceeds expectations.

In this video, we will take a look at who exactly the Taskmaster is, what he is capable of, and how he could potentially shape the future of not only phase 4, but the MCU as we know it. Tony Masters, aka Taskmaster, had a relatively normal childhood, that is, until he discovered that he could perfectly mimic the movements of anyone he watched, including one time when he nailed a dive into a pool after watching a professional diver perform the move only once. As he grew up, he utilised this ability to get ahead in life, such as when he became the star quarterback of his high school football team, after watching a few professional games on TV.

Eventually, Masters joined up and became an agent of SHIELD, where he only grew stronger and stronger.

Doug Jones is a highly respected and acclaimed actor who has appeared in over 150 acting jobs to his name to this day. However, chances are you never realized who Doug Jones was unless you’re a hardcore cinephile. That’s because many of Jones’ roles require him to be covered in extensive makeup and costumes that hide his natural visage. Jones is the man behind such iconic characters as the Lead Gentleman in Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s best episode, “Hush”, the monster in The Shape of Water, Saru in Star Trek Discovery and Abe in Hellboy, the latter of which took seven hours in makeup everyday just to bring the character to life. Jones got his start not by acting, but as a mime for his University’s mascot.

From there, his love of contortionist work led him to do TV commercials for a few years before getting his big break as a minor character in Batman Returns. From there, he landed the role of Billy in Hocus Pocus and his career only continued to grow from there. He’s a frequent collaborator of Guillermo del Toro, from Mimic to Hellboy and the Shape of Water. But his most famous roles are arguably that of the Faun and the Pale Man in del Toro’s acclaimed film, Pan’s Labyrinth. Jones believes that despite the ease of CGI and motion capture, there is something very human and authentic when it comes to bringing a non-human character to life practically and adamantly believes that audiences want to see that more in the end too over creatures made in VFX. He may be onto something there.

Welcome back to ScreenRant! Quick warning — since we’re mainly focusing on ideas for season 4, this video features ALL THE SPOILERS for Stranger Things Season 3 — just so you know!

We waited two years. We binged. And now we’re all ready for season four. Yes, we’re talking about Stranger Things — the Netflix show that just keeps giving and only seems to get better and better with each new season. The town of Hawkins, Indiana has been the main focus of Stranger Things, but season four looks to change things up a bit. In season three, the cold open and mid-credits sequence focused on a Russian facility, but expect to see plenty more of Russia in the next season, especially with “The American” trapped in a cell there — more on that later. With advancements in technology and different gates located all around the globe, the Upside Down may be accessed all in multiple locations — which is great news for the Mind Flayer — not so much for anyone living near the areas.

So what’s next for the series after that epic finale? Well, the speculation has begun and a whole collection of fan theories gives us plenty of options for Season 4!

One of the most epic moments in the whole MCU so far has been when Captain America wielded Thor’s Mjolnir during the climactic battle in Avengers: Endgame. While Steve Rogers was worthy of carrying Thor’s hammer, the world of Marvel comics have featured numerous characters who should have never been allowed to lift the powerful weapon. From continity to plain out cheating to hold the Mjolnir — let’s take a look at all those who got their hands on the hammer but were definitely unworthy. The Merc with a Mouth is violent, arrogant, and pretty does whatever he wants. He doesn’t exactly fill the criteria for the role of being worthy of wielding the Mjolnir in any shape or form. It would have been a big insult to show him on the big screen with Thor’s hammer, but everything seems pretty fair game in the comics. Take, for example, Deadpool #37. In the issue, Deadpool spends multiple panels with Loki before the God of Mischief decides to gift him with the Mjolnir. Black Widow has been through thick and thin with her fellow Avengers. She was there by Tony Stark’s side before the Avengers were even a thing. In Avengers: Age of Ultron, she didn’t even try to lift Thor’s hammer — probably because she knew that no matter what happened, there was far too much red on her ledger to ever make her worthy.
