2014 Jaguar F-type: Finally, an E-type Successor! – Ignition Episode 65

On this episode of Ignition, Kim Reynolds heads to Pamplona, Spain to have a look at some of Jaguar’s classic entries in the sports car realm, and also to get his hands on their latest convertible sports car, the F-Type. The F-type has an all-aluminum body and a new all-aluminum, 3.0-liter supercharged direct-injection V-6 based on the 5.0-liter V-8, with balance shafts, a dual independent variable cam timing system, and a Roots-type twin vortex supercharger mounted in the engine’s vee. Jaguar has given us three different versions, the V6, V6S, and V8s, to play with, so we’re taking them out to the mountains of Spain to see which one best represents Jaguar’s new spiritual E-type successor.

The 2013 Geico AMA EnduroCross Series debuts LIVE from Las Vegas, NV! EnduroCross tracks incorporate various elements of extreme off road racing into a Supercross-style setting, including rocks, boulders, logs, sand, mud, a water-hole…and even a few special obstacles like giant tires thrown in! Known as the “toughest racing on two wheels,” this indoor off road racing will certainly keep you on your feet.

The stars have aligned and 2014 will be the year of the hybrid hypercar as the 903bhp McLaren P1, 887bhp Porsche 918 Spyder and 950bhp Ferrari LaFerrari are all nearing completion. In this video the McLaren P1 is seen — and heard — at McLaren’s Woking HQ, where it is about to be packed away bound for testing in Germany. Its rear wing is missing and ride height is set particularly high as a result.

Rat Rod Jeep Death-Wish Trip! – Roadkill Episode 15

David Freiburger claims that this road trip on this episode of Roadkill is the most stupid thing that he and Mike Finnegan have ever done. Freiburger wanted to do a Jeep trip, so Finnegan bought an old Willys flatfender–one that had been turned into a two-wheel-drive rat rod using some very sketchy fabrication. The guys made it semi-safe, then hit the road to drive to the Desert Bar in Parker, Arizona, where they sold the Jeep to a guy for the price of their bar tab. Watch to see the crazy fun in the scariest vehicle ever on Roadkill.
