After racing a Volvo for several years and driving an S60 on the road, Randy thought it was about time he visited the home of Volvo. During his adventure overseas, Randy visits the factory, engine plant, proving grounds, Polestar and takes a few hot laps at one of the most unique racetracks in the world.

GM started an upward trend in the compact class when the Cruze replaced the lackluster Cobalt in 2011. With clean styling, a spacious cabin, a peppy turbo engine, and competitive fuel-efficiency the Chevrolet Cruze looked to erase any bad memories left by its predecessors. With renewed competition from Mazda, Honda, and Toyota, it may be time for a refresh soon.
