We’ve all been “zinged” before. And no, we don’t mean being roasted or getting some shade thrown in your direction. We’re talking about the feeling you get when you find your one true love. According to Dracula himself in the first Hotel Transylvania, you can only “zing” once and never again. When he said this, he meant it, and this bit of advice was shared in a heartfelt moment between himself and his daughter. After losing his wife on account of some rioting townspeople, the poor vampire never thought he’d find love again. He was wrong. As we learned in Hotel Transylvania 3, it IS possible to “zing” twice and of all his prospects, he happened to “zing” with his arch nemesis’ great granddaughter. Yes, Ericka Van Helsing is the lucky countess and their love story made for a great twist in the continuing adventures of everyone’s favorite monsters.

But… Is Hotel Transylvania really for everyone? At face value it seems like the perfect story for the whole family to enjoy – with its message of love and acceptance. Still, there are some characters, situations and events that might not be ideal for the young ones. Just take the fact that of all the characters – Dracula, Mavis, Johnny, Ericka, Frank, Eunice, Wayne, Wanda and Murray – half of them are undead. That’s not necessarily the most kid-friendly concept right there. So join ScreenRant as we explore whether this latest flick is truly perfect for all ages or it should be locked away in a dungeon until the younger monsters are old enough to enjoy.

Batman the Animated Series may be a cartoon, but the former WB show really knew how to push the limits when it came to content, jokes, and adult humor. Thanks to wacky characters like Harley Quinn, the show was filled with a lot of innuendo and humor that would easily go right over a child’s head. Harley Quinn is typically the main source of these jokes, and she loves to push the limits with anyone she is around — especially the Joker.

During one scene, the Joker is busy conducting a little business when Harley asks him about a whole other Harley we’ve never seen on screen before. They barely tried to hide the fact they were hiding some dirty content with the scene. Speaking of rides, Batman once went on a crazy ride with Roxy Rocket who got a little excited about an impending explosion as the characters headed on a crash course towards a giant mountain. Harley Quinn once went undercover as a lawyer to help free the Joker from behind bars and she definitely researched some of the more important legal terms associated with her experience. Bruce Wayne may be all business when it comes to dressing up as Batman, but he still likes to come off as the playboy of Gotham City when others are around. Naturally, his multiple relationships include a lot of time with other women. Watch to see all of the dirty jokes Batman: The Animated Series was able to get away with and see what ones you missed as a child!

With television shows, some get to live out their full series run time and happily wrap up all loose ends before going off the air, while others get cancelled before their time, leaving audiences frustrated and confused, filled with questions that will never be answered. Some get to come back, either as movies or saved by another network, but most just fade into history. Some of the craziest TV cliffhangers are the ending of Alf, or the way V left just before it really got going. Southland didn’t get to finish out it’s days, and Off The Map left it’s main character bleeding out. Chasing Life raised more questions than answers, Reunion only got to air some of its first season, The Whispers ended with an abduction, The Family got pulled while the drama was high, and Lois and Clark ended with an unknown baby. Flash Forward frustrated fans, No Tomorrow would have exactly that, The Arrangement had the opposite of a happy ending, My Name Is Earl’ To Be Continued never would continue, and Heroes left us wondering about the character’s fates. Bored To Death was hardly a storybook ending, Hannibal’s cliffhanger was surprisingly literal, Deadwood claimed it’s ending was planned but fans know something else was going on, The Sarah Connor Chronicles ended up in the darkest timeline, The Event was cut off before it could even happen, and Pushing Daisies, Timeless, Angel, and Twin Peaks all got canned long before their time was up. Finally, fans still aren’t over the end of Firefly even after it’s movie, and Freaks and Geeks was never appreciated in its time.
