This summer, Spider-Man: Far From Home will bring the MCU’s third phase to its climax.

Very little is known about Phase Four at the moment – other than the fact there’ll definitely be movies focused on Black Widow and the Eternals – and that means a lot of speculation is currently occurring.

In this video, we’ll take you through some of the most interesting theories about what might be in store for us in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Please note that there will be Avengers: Endgame spoilers (both in the video itself and in the following text).

The theories include; that Thanos will be resurrected and return to the MCU, that Steve Rogers will be plucked out of time to help the Avengers in the future, that Natasha Romanoff isn’t actually dead, that we’ll get a new Iron Man now that Tony Stark’s dead, that Norman Osborn or Doctor Doom will be big-bads going forward in the franchise, that Namor, Black Night, Moon Knight, Blade, Nova and the Silver Surfer will all appear, that the Fantastic Four will be introduced and get their powers from the Quantum Realm, and that the X-Men will be introduced as characters from a different universe (now that the Multiverse is well and truly a thing in the franchise).

Avengers: Endgame was treated like a series finale for the MCU. Whilst technically there is one more film in Phase 3, that being Spider-Man: Far From Home, Endgame is often thought as the end to a new beginning. There are so many possibilities to what the future holds for Marvel’s film fans. Today, we’ll be looking at moments in Endgame that will change the MCU forever. One part of the video is looking at how the landscape is different for the MCU audience. Such as characters “kicking the bucket”, new characters being introduced, and new elements being introduced such as time travel. Each topic will affect the MCU’s future in some way. Sometimes the moment may be small, but the implications to Marvel could be great!

We aren’t just choosing moments that affect us as the audience. Nope, we shall be considering factors that affect the actual characters within the MCU. Such as the New Captain America taking the reins, the formally dusted citizens, or New Asgard being established on Earth. We examine how the characters will cope and what their future entails with the climatic change. Regardless of whether it’s us as the viewers that are affected or the MCU characters, the future of the MCU will be vastly different to before Thanos laid siege to Marvel’s cinematic universe. So, strap in and get reminiscing on the MCU’s past as we look at why the MCU will be a completely different landscape in the near future.

Pokemon caused a huge sensation when it crossed the seas from Japan to America, and has never slowed down since! From cards to games to movies and TV series, Pokemon has cemented itself as one of the most beloved cartoon franchises of all time. But sometimes, the version we see here in North America is actually really different from the Japanese original. With scenes that are cut, characters who are changed, and costumes that are adjusted, nothing got past the censors and American networks! Things like a couple of inflatable balloons in a bikini in the episode Beauty and the Beach that was left on the editing room floor, or an adjusted scene featuring Meowth, Cyndaquil, and a life-saving Miltank! There was a creepy moment between the Kangaskhan Kid and Misty that didn’t make it to air, a few inches of skirt that were added to a character in the Gold and Silver game, the episode The Legend of Dratini had a ton of guns being pointed at kids so that changed, a match replaced with a birthday candle for some weird reason, the unsettling design of the original Grimer card that had to be changed before it could be released, and some seriously messed up moments relating to World War II that were understandably uncomfortable. In the episode Critical Situation! Bakuong Vs Juptile, a wine glass was changed as to not encourage drinking, and an episode called Tower of Terror was taken off air completely after a national tragedy. Marvel managed to cram a lot into their universe altering, phase 3 finale, Avengers: Endgame. Characters passed on, others entered different timelines, and more gained promotions. Now, Thor is with the Guardians of the Galaxy, Falcon is Captain America and the whole MCU has gone topsy turvy with changes. While we here at ScreenRant couldn’t be happier with the way the story went, it seems like the characters on screen weren’t the only things that Marvel changed. According to Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors who are now celebrating the fruits of their hard labors, there were more changes to the script and the film as it was being made than we previously thought. So join ScreenRant as we explore all the many adjustments that happened during the script-writing phase, during filming, and even during the release of the trailers.

Actually, these changes were happening especially during the release of the trailers – Marvel is famous for misdirecting its audience with tampered footage, altered scenes, and total fakeouts that toy with fans’ expectations. So let’s discuss how Tony almost faced his aged-up daughter, how Thor practically fought himself, how Thanos nearly had more of a backstory, how the Morag sequence was close to being incredibly different, and how the god of thunder and Valkyrie were so close to becoming a thing. Oh, and we’ll definitely dissect all those fakeouts from the trailers too.
