2019 Classic Trucks Week to Wicked: 1971 Chevrolet C10—Day 4

Day 4 recap. Things are motoring along! The ’71 Chevy has been “non-LS” retrofit with a 350 small-block courtesy of Gandrud Chevrolet. Once we get our custom-built driveshaft from OC Driveline, that combined 400-plus horsepower will be aptly handled by the Strange Engineering ’67-72 C10 bolt-in 9-inch installed on Day One. We still have the remainder of Day Four before we enter the final 24 hours of the United Pacific Week to Wicked presented by Classic Trucks—stay tuned!

Better late than never? For sure! By no means perfect, there are quite a few moans and niggles today, but the Hammy is just so damned handsome that I can forgive it its foibles and idiosyncrasies. Perhaps some of them will be addressed in the next model run? Cheers, Jody

25 Things You Missed In Disney’s The Lion King (2019)

Did you catch any of these hidden secrets and details in Disney’s Lion King remake? Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

While we just can’t wait to see The Lion King… again, let’s talk about the 25 things you may have missed in your first (or second or third viewing) of the live action remake. Sure, many shots are mirror images of what we saw in the original 1994 film, but there are many additional touches, flourishes and nods that might be overlooked by certain viewers. Of course, the biggest change of all is the fact that this film is live action – but you might be surprised to learn that all but one shot in the movie is animated with photorealistic computer technology.

Other you may have missed include updated details surrounding Mufasa’s death, and the fact that several songs either cut from the original version or made for the Broadway musical, like “He Lives In You,” have found their way into the 2019 film. Songs like: “Spirit” and “The Morning Report” debut in this brand new telling of the Circle of Life. Plus, there are new lyrics to be found in “Hakuna Matata” and “Be Prepared.” Also, watch this video to learn how the stars reacted to the British Royals at the premiere. Other changes between versions of the story include Scar’s aggressive proposal to Sarabi, the stronger characterization of Shenzi, Rafiki’s subdued portrayal, Scar and Zazu’s adjusted dynamic, and less subdued gas-passing. If you pay attention to the credits, you also might catch two actors in the latest film who also appeared in the Broadway show. Disney loves to fill their movies with extra details and The Lion King of 2019 is no different. Join ScreenRant as we journey to the serengeti and feel all the love surrounding this flick.

Thor: Love And Thunder First Look

What do you think will happen in Thor: Love And Thunder? Subscribe to our channel! http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

San Diego Comic Con 2019 revealed a bunch of new movies and TV shows that will comprise MCU Phase Four.

One of the most notable inclusions in the next chapter of the franchise is a fourth Thor movie, which will be entitled Thor: Love and Thunder.

Rather excitingly, it was revealed that Natalie Portman will be portraying the female Jane Foster version of Thor in the movie, who director Taika Waititi revealed will be referred to as “The Mighty Thor”.

So, what exactly will the movie entail?

Well, by looking a little deeper into its title and indeed the history of Jane Foster as Thor in the comics, we have a pretty good idea.

In this video, we’ll be doing exactly that.

Some ideas include a thunderous reunion between Thor and Jane Foster, Valkyrie finding herself a queen as the MCU’s first LGBTQ hero, a new hammer being forged in Nidavellir for Foster, and a possible influence from 1980s cartoon Masters of the Universe and late 1980s video game Golden Axe!

We don’t think the Jane Foster Thor story will be adapted directly from the comic books, because that story was a little too depressing for a Taika Waititi movie – but the movie may surprise us and tastefully use humour to deal with the emotional storyline!

You’ll have to watch the video to find out more!

We hope you enjoy the video! Please leave a comment letting us know what you thought about it. And don’t forget to subscribe to Screen Rant’s YouTube channel, so you never miss our great new video uploads in the future.

****8 DECK TIPS****
1- Don’t use miner for alone chip damage, keep it for when you have a push to distract the tower or kill defensive troops.

2- Use horde to defend pushes when you know your opponent has no splash cards on hand.

3- Don’t be afraid to use the miner on defense, for example if there’s a giant or hog push coming and you don’t have any other “defensive” card.

4- When you play lava hound in single elixir, don’t always defend small pushes like a bandit, but if the push can take a large chunk of your tower, defend it. In double elixir, try to defend everything that can cause significant damage.

5- Try to place the minion horde behind the enemy troops when they begin to aim at the tower, so that they do not kill the horde.

6- Don’t stack troops, so your opponent doesn’t get too much spells value or splash value. For example if your opponent has wizard/executioner or fireball/poison.

7- Know your opponents deck. For example if you know their only air targeting cards are mega minion and minions, you can push the other lane with balloon instead of continuing to push the same lane.

8- You can push with a balloon to bait out air troops, a fireball, or a building like inferno or Tesla. Then do a lava miner push in the other lane.

That Time We Almost Killed Our Camera Guy – Storytime
Here’s the story about the time our camera guy and long-time collaborator, (the wonderful Michael Schmidt) probably almost died on the set of our video because nobody took him to the hospital. He came down with a horrible cough on a freezing cold night while shooting in the woods on the set of our first branded video, “Halo 4 Glad You Came” and got so sick that he had to stop shooting and passed out in the car. It was a close call and we learned a lot, but we’re all very thankful that he lived to tell this story and still works with us to this day!

Tarantino Theory: How Every Movie Is Connected

How is every single Quentin Tarantino film connected? Subscribe to our channel! http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

Quentin Tarantino is one of the most acclaimed directors of all time. His movies are inventive, imaginative, and flip the scripts on their heads. In all his creative genius, his biggest triumph is connecting all of his movies in the same universe. This may seem like a crazy thought, but if you think about it, each and every movie SO FAR has happened within the same timeline.

Quentin Tarantino only has 8 movies under his belt – well, that he counts at least – so this seemingly far fetched theory can actually work quite well. All of his movies take place on Earth, in a realistic setting, and focus on the interactions of the characters. Tarantino has dropped subtle hints in each of his movies that give us some insight into this incredible world building.

Our biggest hint at this theory is in Pulp fiction. When Uma Thurman’s character Mia is having dinner with John Travolta as Vincent, she mentions that she was a part of a TV pilot. The character she plays sounds AWFULLY familiar. We learn a bit more about the pilot, which gives a bit more context to this theory.
