Teachers Share the Impact of the Doodle 4 Google Tech Grant

Visit http://www.doodle4google.com for more info. Matteo Lopez won the 2011 Doodle 4 Google contest and his school won a technology grant. Is the 2012 winner at your school?

Welcome to Doodle 4 Google, a contest where we invite students in the United States to use their artistic talents to think big and redesign Google’s homepage logo for millions to see. This year we ask students to exercise their creative imaginations around the theme, “If I could travel in time, I’d visit…” One lucky student artist will see their artwork appear on the Google homepage and take home some cool prizes–and as a special bonus, the winning artwork will appear on a limited edition of Crayola’s iconic 64 box! Just remember, a parents or guardian signature is required for each entry.

Doodle 4 Google 2012: Behind the Scenes with the Doodle Team

Calling all young artists: there are only a few days left to submit artwork for the 2012 US Doodle 4 Google. In this video, our doodle team (the Googlers who design the artwork you see from time to time on Google’s homepage) shows how Google doodles are created as a special encouragement to young artists to get involved in this year’s contest. And don’t forget, all submissions are due March 23rd so there’s not a moment to wait!
