Second Hour, second watch, second Aussie, second last micro recommendation. A lot of seconds! Clearly on the dressier side of the tool watch spectrum this one. That will appeal to some and turn off others. As will thos big indexes at 12,4, adn 8. But if you like the look then this one jhas the feel of a proper, end-to-end project about it. Good on ‘ya mate! Jody

I’ve been avoiding this one due to that sizeable nickname! Was I right to? Or is the Sumo just a big softie at heart? Well, it wears better than some of the dimensions suggest, but don;t even think about a leather strap etc. And do you really want to be squeezing a big watch on your wrist? If you do, then this is one very nicely made big watch to squeeze. Cheers, Jody

Admittedly, it is No.1 in a fairly small pool of watches, but a win is a win nonetheless. Very solid, a bit girthy, and quite blingy. But if you like the looks – an octopi – then this is a very solid watch at a good price. Cheers, Jody

Seiko have been squeezing us for dollars for the last few years now. The death of the SARB was the first sign, the SKX/5KX debacle was the next sign. Don’t let them win! Erm, buy their older models….?! This is a re-buy and re-review today of the first Seiko I bought four years ago, the handsome SNZG13. So much watch for not a lot of cash, with a few caveats. Cheers, Jody
